Our primary goal is summed up by our Mission Zero program: zero injuries, zero harm, and zero losses on the job. Athabasca Catering takes pride in the quality of safety training provided to staff, and is seen as a leader in workplace safety practices. By working together with our partners, we strive for a safe and dedicated workplace, giving everyone the peace of mind to focus on their work and performing at their best. We are also a Member of the Service Hospitality safety association, and an Associate Member of the Construction Safety Association.
In 2011, Athabasca Catering became one of the first members of Saskatchewan’s hospitality industry to achieve COR certification.
We believe in and promote a responsible approach to doing business, which means we place significant emphasis on environmental stewardship. Our vision embraces the principle of achieving economic success while respecting our people and the communities where we live and work, minimizing the impact to the environment in traditional territories and beyond. Through expert training, a constant desire for improvement, and respect for our land, air, and water, we respect our earth and strive to minimize our footprint in everything we do.
We do more than provide high-quality services to our clients. We are building a legacy for generations to come by serving and supporting our Indigenous communities. We understand the deep-rooted values and cultures of the communities in which we operate, always striving to give back through opportunities and growth. We go beyond simply maintaining the relationships we forge – we strive to leave a legacy of sustained partnerships with Indigenous communities, helping to build the foundations for long-term success and overall impact on generations to come.
Safety and cleanliness have always been two of our fundamental pillars, so our response to COVID-19 follows our existing principles. The safety of your people is our top priority, so we ensure proper sanitization of all areas to meet the strict guidelines set by Health Canada. We make sure our staff always have recommended personal protection equipment in place to protect those around them.
