Resident of Northern Saskatchewan (RSN):

Helpful hints – we know this can be confusing for some! You are likely an RSN if…

  • You’ve lived in Northern Saskatchewan for 10 years or one half of your age (whichever is less).
  • You’ve lived in Northern Saskatchewan before, but you relocated outside of Northern Saskatchewan:
    • For educational purposes (to attend school); or,
    • For up to 5 years or less.

If you’ve lived outside of Northern Saskatchewan for more than 5 years, you can regain your RSN status if you re-establish your main physical address in Northern Saskatchewan at the time you are hired with us. If this is your case, PLEASE LET US KNOW. (For example: You grew up in La Ronge but have lived in Prince Albert the last 7 years. Then, moved back to La Ronge and eventually got a job with us. Under these circumstances, we’d consider you an RSN!)

If you’re still not sure, please reach out to us at careers@athabascacatering.com with the subject line “RSN Inquiry”.
